Understanding the ingredients that create a good centre line and halt will not only help your training, but your test results too.
We discussed centre lines and halts earlier in season one and in season two, Vanessa talks us through as she rides the movements and brings in even more details as to how to create that perfect halt.
Every test has two centre lines and halts so it makes sense that we train them with accuracy and purpose at home, so that translates in a competition setting.
Vanessa is all about getting the basics fully established to lay the foundations of later training. This means having a trot that is fully adjustable as well as a horse that is forward of your leg.

Here is a wee snippet from the video in season two. Watch what ingredients come to play as Vanessa rides her centre lines and discusses what she is doing as she is riding.
In Vanessa Way’s season two program ‘Mastering Your Dressage Movements’, she runs you through the ingredients that build your perfect halts and how to train them at home.
See first hand each horse and watch how Vanessa works on each individual’s strengths and weaknesses to create balance.
See first-hand what to expect, what commonly goes wrong, how to overcome obstacles and how to improve your marks in the competition arena.
Get access to the full video plus over 4 hours of Vanessa’s teaching with her season two online training program ‘Mastering Your Dressage Movements.’
